WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: Upon
receiving the Contact Page request and the 50% down payment our
“D.I.Y. GET TO KNOW YOU" package will be mailed to you.
This package is the first step in developing our relationship and
includes the following items for you to complete and mail back in the
prepaid envelope provided: 1.
Lifestyle Questionnaire –
These questions are an effective way for us to get an overall picture of
who you are, level of design needs, and points us in the correct
direction for making product selections tailored to you and your family. 2.
Gather inspirational
images – Include 4 images of rooms you feel best describe how you
would like your room to look and feel.
Additionally, write on the photos and tell us what you are drawn
to. You may get these from
magazines, catalogs, or the Internet. 3.
Measure room and create drawings
– We will provide you with 2 pieces of Grid paper.
Grid paper is an 8.5x11 sheet of paper filled with squares. We
ask that each square represent 1 foot.
On this paper you will dimension your room and create an
elevation of each wall. Please
look for “How to Measure” instructions in our “D.I.Y. Get To Know
You” package. We
understand that there may be slight inaccuracies. We
suggest that upon receipt of the final “D.I.Y. Decorate It Yourself”
package and before making any purchases you lay non-sticky painters
tape to represent each suggested item to make sure it fits properly in
your actual space. 4.
Photographs of all 4
walls, floor and ceiling - We ask that you photograph each wall
entirely in your desired room, side to side and floor to ceiling. Then
take 1 photo of your ceiling and 1 of your flooring. 5.
Take photographs of
existing furniture or art – Indicate pieces of furniture or art
that you would like included in your room design by taking a photo of
the item and provide its measurements (height, width, and depth).
Please be selective, this is an opportunity to purge and keep
only what you love. *Photos you provide will not be returned and/or may be used during the process.
